"Train 104 at Grove City running about 35 miles an hour, a good deal of black smoke EH! Joe Smallwood, Engineer. / A letter in a few days. Wm. There are 5 Grove Cities in the US: 3 (in PA FL & OH would have gone in the wrong direction to get to New Orleans on the way to Key West), 1 (in IL has no railroad going through it at all), leaving Minnesota! William Smallwood would be the sender, probably his dad or brother. Sent early during the second US military occupation of Cuba ordered by Theodore Roosevelt to protect North American interests there. The New Orleans - Key West transit would have been by ship. $45.00 $35.00 m(g)g-c SALE PRICE: SAVE $10.00 (22% OFF)
